New York, one of the largest cities is home to some of the best airports in the world. The airports are among the busiest ones. NY airports namely JFK, EWR, LGA and Westchester get the highest international traffic. John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK)
Every year millions of passengers land at JFK’s operating terminals that are seven in number. The CTA or Central Terminal Area of the airport has one-mile circular roadway and has four runways. It serves as the hub airport for passenger airlines such as JetBlue Airways, Delta Air Lines and American Airlines. Cargo airlines like Polar Air Cargo, Kalitta Air and Evergreen International Airlines also uses JFK as their hub airport. Terminal 8 is the hub of American Airlines and Oneworld flights.
Westchester Airport (HPN)

The airport is smaller in size as compared to other popular airports in the city but it offers connections to major hubs. LaGuardia Airport (LGA)
The airport is located in the borough of Queens. With the combination of JFK and Newark International Airports, LGA makes the largest airport system in the world. The airport serves as a hub for Delta Air Lines. If you are flying to Europe from LGA, you won’t get a direct flight. The four terminals of the airport are well-connected by buses and walkways. Moreover, you can easily travel from terminal to terminal by using free AirTrain.
Newark International Airport (EWR)
Every year, more than 34 million passengers travel to and from terminals of EWR. The airport is the hub for United Airlines, FedEx Express and Kalitta Air. The airport features three runways and a helipad. Like LGA, EWR also features AirTrain Network as a part of ground transportation. Its most discerning feature is that you can find accommodation within the airport complex. Marriott Hotel is located within the same premises.
