Is Your Bed Right For You?
Today as homes become smaller and smaller, all furniture pieces are going through a facelift. Today, the right kind of furniture is not only good looking; it is also multifunctional so as to be more versatile and more usable. And the same holds true for king size double beds and queen size double bed as well. Experiments with spaces have never reached a high as that we see today; and this is both out of necessity and creativity. Cities are growing, living area is shrinking and the need for best utilisation of space has become absolutely essential. So if you find that your bed is just a flat surface you sleep upon and in fact so big that you bump in to the corners when walking to the bathroom in the dark, it is time to analyze if your bed is even right for you.
While king size double beds are a great choice in nuclear families, designing it with creativity adds to its functionality. For smaller rooms where space crunch is the result of too large a bed, it makes sense to forgo a luxurious bed and buy queen size beds that are more in proportion to the scale ...
... of the room. While these are just as comfortable for two to sleep in, these are a whole foot smaller in size as compared to king size double beds. What is better is that with a queen size bed, it is much easier to also add two or even one bedside table that adds more functionality to the room; becoming the ideal place to keep a night lamp, some books and medicines.
If the problem is lack of storage space and you find that your closets are so full that clothes and bags come tumbling down as soon as you open the wardrobe doors, then storage beds king size is the perfect solution. For smaller rooms, storage beds queen size is also an ideal solution. However, choose a storage bed based on what items you want to store inside. If these are seasonal clothing, blankets and old books that you don’t need to access on everyday basis, choose a higher bed that comes with box like opening from the top slats – these gives you more storage space inside that can be accessed by removing the mattress and lifting the top off. However, if you require a storage bed to keep everyday items like extra sheets, towels, shoes and more, then look for a bed that comes with pull out drawers. These are accessed from the side and that means you don’t have to manually lift off heavy mattresses everyday to reach inside.
Some storage beds king size come in combination style – one half of the bed has a liftable top to store blankets and more and the other side has drawers to accommodate everyday need items. If you cannot find such king size double beds or queen size beds sale readymade at a local store or online store, you can get these made on order. They are versatile and even more usable in smaller homes where lack of storage space results in a cluttered look.
