Considerations While Choosing Business Phone Systems For Your Office
Large firms have an amazing technological setup. In fact, because of a huge budget, they usually outsource a lot of services including customer care. A specialized call center takes care of customer grievances and takes note of each and every complaint, feedback and suggestion that comes their way. This helps firms serve their customers better. Smaller firms, on the other hand, don’t even have a budget enough to hire more employees, let alone outsourcing their work. And lack of communication channels with the client is where they suffer and lose out on the opportunity to become as big as other firms.
A channel of communication eases a lot of things. First of all, it lets customers feel that the company is present for them in times of needs. This keeps them satisfied and takes care of the repeat purchases. It would be important to know at this juncture that a company runs because of existing customers, and not new ones! Secondly, if the customer has someone to talk to from the company, rather than filling out online feedback forms, he feels much more positive. A human touch, is thus, very effective in binding customers ...
... to the company and you can achieve the same by installing office phone systems that will open up all avenues for 2 way communication between the client and the company.
Choosing business phone systems is not an easy task. First of all, they are expensive and therefore cannot be purchased on a daily basis. You have to make sure that your decision is right in the first go. Secondly, you need to install something that will sustain your office for a couple of years to come and also ensure that they will be able to handle a rise in the number of calls in near future. You should look at the following considerations while choosing business telephone systems:
• Fixed Line or VoIP? – A fixed line is the telephone system we use at our place. There are fixed to a spot where the telephone line from the exchange comes to your home. Fixed line systems are most ideal for a one man business or home based business firms. VoIP, on the other hand, has the ability to handle multiple calls and is perfect for firms who are always on the lookout to grab national and international deals.
• Features: Your telephone should ideally have features like automated voice response, auto-attendant, conference calling, call forwarding, call barring and ability to connect to the internet using USB hubs. These features can broaden the professional outlook of your company and make it function just like a call center.
Buying a lot of phones can be costly. Try to find out if the vendor provides EMI options.
