You can even use fresh strawberries to add flavor to your candies. Simply make sure to remove it before transferring the mixture to the glass container.

Since you are making rock candy sticks, use a lollipop stick for the purpose. Wet the stick and roll it in granulated sugar. Using a string, attach the lollipop stick to a pencil and place the pencil across the jar leaving the stick to hang inside the jar containing sugar mixture. Make sure that the stick doesn’t touch the bottom of the jar. Then leave it aside for few days. After some days you will notice that the crystals have started to develop. It needs almost a week for the rock to form. Thus, you have your own rock candy sticks made by you.
