From a very young age itself, many children aim at going for aerospace engineering. This branch of engineering is one of the most sought after branches.

The term itself talks about the content of the subject. To put it in layman’s terms, this is the study of airplanes and spacecrafts. The study can be divided roughly into two major branches, aeronautical engineering which deals with the study of aircraft that fly within the earth’s atmosphere while the second; astronautical engineering deals with the study of space craft. The study involves the physics and chemistry of airplanes. One has to study about what goes into the designing, making, working and functioning of airplanes.

In the last two semesters, student are expected to work on two relevant projects. During the course, students are taken for regular industrial visits. Here they can see and lean more about the subjects which they study in theory. This makes their learning even better. Students are also expected to undergo industrial training for a stipulated period of time as a part of their curriculum.

In the last two semesters, there are some optional subjects called Electives. Here the students can select the subjects of their choice and interest for further study. This gives them the opportunity to understand their liking and study deeper in those fields. Students are supposed to give seminars on different topics. Here they are expected to research the topic well and talk about it and explain it to their class. This helps in development of soft skills in addition to their subject knowledge. The atmosphere and facilities provided in the institute, all are with the aim to give the best environment for students to learn and acquire knowledge. Thus, the aerospace engineering course helps individuals prepare for their dream jobs in this field.

The institute recognizes merit by providing scholarships to meritorious students if specific criteria of marks are fulfilled. The scholarships are usually in the form of waiver on tuition fees.
