You may have heard or come across the words Landmark cult. This would immediately lead to a perception of a covert organization that brainwashes its members to do creepy and scary things such as middle of the night escapades and orgies.

On the other hand, you should focus on the benefits of landmark education as much as it has been painted as having cultic tendencies. It is important not take the simple meaning of the words Landmark cult as they appear. Landmark education provides a forum which promises to transform participants within three days through intense inquiry. There are people who have spoken of the benefits of the program while others have fallen short of labeling it as a cult. They maintain that it scars the lives of people who enroll in it. To them it is the Landmark cult so to speak.

Participants are encouraged to think and make independent choices. The aim is to gain a position against those negative and detrimental perceptions about their ability.
