Microscope is an instrument which helps you to view small and tiny particles that we are unable to see through our naked eyes. it is an internal scientific arrangement of lenses which helps you to see minute organisms like bacteria and viruses by magnifying it a hundred times than its original size and the process by which we study these tiny particles is called Microscopy. Microscope is a very important scientific instrument which helps to solve various health related problem and hence helps to know the cause of such a problem so as to carry out the treatment accordingly. Microscopes are widely used to carry out different researches and studies in the field of Science.

There are a number of microscopes available in the market, each with a unique specification to help to detect a particular problem. Different types of Microscopes are Compound Microscopes, Optical Microscopes, Digital Microscopes, Fluorescence Microscope, Electron Microscope and Stereo Microscope. Each one is unique with different magnifying capacity.

Electron Microscope is a highly advanced Microscope with greatest magnifying capacity as compared ...
... to light microscopes that are used by most of the people today. It illuminates the specimen with the help of electrons. Electron Microscope comprises electrostatic and electromagnetic lenses which help to magnify the specimen by two million times, its electrons help to illuminate the specimen. Electron Microscope focuses on the specimen and gives a magnified image which helps to clearly analyze and study the particle; this is possible by controlling the ray of electronic radiation.

The two main types of electron microscopes are T.E.M-Transmission Electron Microscope and S.E.M-Scanning Electron Microscope. In both the microscopes a ray of electrons is focused on the specimen to be observed. T.E.M is generally used for scientific studies and research. Transmission Electron Microscope transmits a ray of free electrons through the specimen and Scanning Electron Microscope scans the specimen with the ray of free electrons and reflects them off the specimen.

Some advantages of Electron Microscopes are that these microscopes have highest magnifying capacity and exceptionally superior microscopic imaging resolution. The Scanning Electron Microscope is better than the Transmission Electron Microscope as S.E.M. can analyze anything like insects, crystals, biological tissues, blood samples, blood cells and a lot more specimens that are not too thin. But however you need to coat the specimen that is to be viewed through S.E.M.

Under the Electron Microscope various germs causing severe diseases can be efficiently detected. It greatly helps to detect germs causing Cancer too! It helps in diagnosis of Cervical Cancer cells and thus helps in further treatment of Cancer accordingly. The doctors and a team of experts can detect cancer under electron microscope. Thus these Electron Microscopes are of great help to diagnose the disease and help to provide the necessary medication on time. It has immensely helped the scientists and the researchers to reach new advancements and developments that have brought the existing life to new heights and in a new form. Electron Microscope is an unbelievable scientific instrument that helps to reach the micro world of blood cells and various specimens which we are unable to see with our naked eyes.
