Stone claddings are an amazing way to improve the exteriors of the home décor. It is nothing but a thin layer of lightweight stone or stone products applied over the building that is held in place by a concrete base. It can also use natural stones that are cut as desired and fixed onto the building by a product called clip. Stacked stone cladding is used to accent walls, pillars and water bodies. Stack stone can be used both for the interiors and exteriors and are available in different shapes, sizes and colors to complement the building or interior.

Another essential feature to revamp your home is to install a fireplace. This again can be inside or outside the house. Fire places inside the house are placed in the common room or living room. Stone fire places are typically built outside and are placed in the garden or near the pool. This is not only aesthetic but also practical during cold weather. Fireplaces are now a common occurrence in many homes and many are purely for artistic reasons. Therefore, the fireplace may just be part of the design of the house without its use.

Adding stone wall ...
... to gardens gives them a rustic feel as it keeps the atmosphere wild and untamed. Thus, it would be like experiencing nature in the backyard without tampering with technicalities much. Exterior stone cladding can be uneven and rough. While designing the interiors, however, care must be taken to ensure it balances the interior, be it the bathroom, bedroom, kitchen or living room. This gives the interior proper structure and order without looking off place.

Stone cladding adds a little texture, warmth and drama to the overall look of the house. It gives the house an untouched appearance that adds to the ambience. Though it is all the rage in architectural circles, it requires a lot of work to correctly cut and stack the cladding. The base requires additional concrete to hold it. This may be a little heavy on the pocket. Stone cladding though, is durable and long-lasting as it is made of mostly unprepared stone.

Typically, stone wall cladding can be done anywhere in or outside the house. It costs a little more than a normal finish but gives the house a pleasing look.
