Four New York Long Term Care Facilities Make It To The 2012 Best Nursing Home List In The Us
America has over 15,500 long term health care facilities completelongtermcare.com but only 39 of them made it to the 2012 Best Nursing Home List of www.health.usnews.com. The 39 nursing homes are the only ones which received a perfect five star rating from Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) for four consecutive quarters. The rating was based on their performance in health inspection, staffing and quality measures.
Of the 39 nursing homes, four of them are located in New York. They are the following:
1. Jamaica Hospital TCU – This small long term care facility located in Jamaica, New York only has 7 beds, all of which are available for Medicaid patients. They began operation on January 9, 2009.
