Gulab Jamun is the most adored sweet of Indian subcontinent, liked throughout the year and offered for any good reason. It is yummy, mouthwatering and lip-smacking sweet which is a delight in every Indian Occasion. The word gulab jamun comes from Persian word Gulab (rose water fragrance syrup) and Indian word called Jaman, a south Asian fruit which is small in size and shape.

Traditionally its ingredients consist of dough containing milk solids or Khoa (caramelized reduced milk). These Gulab Jamuns are precisely blended from accurate proportions of milk and flour and twisted into a ball along with some flour and fried deeply in pure desi ghee. These deep fried balls are then immersed in sugar syrup, which is flavored with cardamom, saffron and rose water. They are greatly preferred in the every occasion due to its mouth watering taste and nutritional value.
