The wait is almost over. March 17th 2013 marks the first race of the 2013 Formula 1 season: Melbourne. Who will you be cheering for and which races will you attend?

Everyone’s got their favorites and this year’s a long season of 19 races around the globe. Whether it’s classic old circuits like Silverstone or Imola, purpose-built new ones like Abu Dhabi or Austin, or street tracks like Singapore and Monaco, one thing’s for sure the racing is bound to be epic! Certainly in this the last year before the cars change to V6 turbo-powered engines. Talk about a game changer!

So, you have one final year to experience the unparalleled high-revving roar, smell and rumble of the infamous Formula 1 V8 engines before the lower-revving, smaller, more ‘environmentally minded’ V6s are introduced. What to do? You can only attend one race…which do you choose? If you’re a true fan of F1, there is only one choice: the 2013 Monaco Grand Prix. Watching those cars and listening to their epic exhaust notes bounce around the high buildings of the famous Principality, and out to sea, is one of life’s bucket ...
... list experiences.

And, what better way to embrace this ultimate of Monaco F1 weekends than from the top deck of a stunning superyacht moored by the track? Three decks, huge lounges, hi-def TVs, a Jacuzzi, even an elevator are just some of the attributes to be found aboard My Yacht Monaco’s gorgeous, 180-foot yacht that will be home to 4 days and evenings of luxury hospitality, exclusive receptions and amazing views of all the racing action.

A glass of champagne in one hand, some caviar or decadent dessert I the other, and the world’s best drivers pushing their machines to the limit only a few feet away? Sounds like an opportunity not to be missed. Just in case that’s not enough to convince you, it’s also home to the Royal reception and party, an annual Friday night, invitation-only gathering that’s traditionally includes the Prince and Princess of Monaco.

Well, seems only fitting to bid adieu to those V8 engines in the best style possible. They’ve worked hard, after all!

My Yacht Monaco, now in its 8th year, caters to discerning individuals offering gourmet luxury superyacht hospitality and Monaco F1 race viewing aboard a private superyacht at the Monaco Grand Prix, with invitation-only receptions and parties, Thursday through Sunday.
