Rejuvenate Body And Soul With Yoga Exercises And Pranayam
A trinity of mind, body and soul, yoga is a connection between the trios. Yoga is exhibited in various forms like pranayam, asanas to meditation and enchanting. Yoga exercises are based on Vedic Science and dates back to some 2500 years. The yoga has a great impact on the physical as well as psychological aspects and it is great way to attain a complete tranquillity.
In order to begin with practicing yoga one must start with initial basic steps. Yoga for beginners is kept simple coupled with only few basic asanas. During the initial stage of learning yoga, pranayam plays an important role. Oxygen forms the root element of the human body as 65% of it is made of water. In order to gain a healthy body proper oxygen supply is a must. This concept forms the basis of pranayam.
Yoga for beginners involves high routine of pranayam that aims at regulating the flow of oxygen to the body. This results in an increase in oxygen supply in the body and removing the toxins from the blood stream, thus initiating the formation of a healthy body. • Perform yoga with an empty stomach; morning time would be most suitable.
• The right posture of the body is essential in order to perform yoga is efficient manner
• Patience should be kept while performing asanas to maintain proper body balance.
Few of the basic asanas to begin with can be enumerated as:
Uttanasana:
This asana can be performed in a few simple steps:
1) Align yourself against a wall, with legs stretched straight under the hip
2) Exhale while you stand
3) Now bend forward, broaden your shoulders and inhale.
4) Repeat this for 50 to 60 seconds.
Tadasana:
Or mountain pose as is otherwise known, can be easily done by:
1) Put your feet’s together and stand erect
2) While spreading your toes gently lift the knee cap
3) Now extend your arms and shoulders downward
4) Simultaneously inhale and exhale while doing so for about 30 seconds
Savasana
Savasana or the Corpse pose can be performed in following steps:
1) Move your arms two feet upward from your hips.
2) Straighten up your legs and slowly move your feet’s roll out on the sides
3) Relax completely in this position and breathe for some 10 minutes.
4) Repeat it minimum twice.
Tikonasana
To perform the trikonasana or the triangle pose you need to follow these easy steps:
1) Keep your feet apart at the distance of about 4 feet.
2) Ensure you make 90 degrees with your right feet
3) Inhale slowly while gradually lifting your torso.
4) Relax, bend sideways while doing so slowly exhale.
5) Come back to normal position and breathe for 20 to 30 seconds.
6) Repeat the same steps using your lest feet.
In order to practice yoga exercise, beginners must try to join some institute that specializes in imparting yoga for beginners. This would develop confidence as you would be performing under expert guidance.
