From Jammu you can head to Srinagar by road and then to Ladakh, which is near about 434 kilometers away. It is about a two-day journey from Srinagar.

Leh has an attractive market to visitors. The items available are really exquisite and worth collecting. Leh became a notable tourists’ destination because trade flourished here through the famous Rohtang Pass. The Leh Palace is an interesting place that was built by King Sengge and has nine storeys. The Karakoram ranges too offer a marvelous panoramic sight that cannot be described in words. The high peaks and the ridges are the perfect setting for rock climbing, trekking and especially during snowfall skiing is a must for all tourists.
