Energy Efficiency, Green Technology, And Effective Water Damage California Model

The golden state of California has just discovered a new formula to jumpstarting a badly weakened economy by using a triad of effective measures that include using efficient energy sources, using environmentally friendly technology, and appropriate water damage management protocols.
A January 25, 2009 survey by the Palo Alto-based nonprofit, unbiased, and independent research group Next 10 showed that California's experience highlights the importance of acknowledging the green and clean sector as an emerging key component of economic growth in the region.
The study showed that green collar jobs are exponentially increasing compared to other statewide employment opportunities. And despite recession-like deep trenches for the NASDAQ averages, the green technology investment portfolio still managed to hit record-breaking numbers in 2008. As California leads other states in patent registrations for environmentally sound and efficient technology, it is deemed necessary that California will do well to include green technology in all aspects of governance, including the provision of green services such as water damage prevention, ...
... treatment, cleaning, and restoration.
California executives and industry leaders point out to efficiency measures which were pioneered over the past 30 years as the primary motivator for the creation of more than 1.5 million jobs and allowed California industries and businesses to produce more goods and services per unit of energy consumed when compared to other states in the country.
Today's financial storm has not deterred California's resolve to use only cleaner and more efficient energy use mechanisms in weathering the financial crises as well as contribute to the global call for reductions in global warming emissions.
The Next 10 report also contains a detailed presentation and analyses of the number and types of environmentally clean or green jobs in the state. In 2007, it has been widely published that the state of California employs about 100,000 green workers which is about as many as the state's biotechnology industry.
Green occupations included research scientists, wind-energy technicians, and solar panel technicians and installers. Green employment rose to 10 percent in 2007 from 2005 while the statewide job growth was only 1% for the same 2-year period. California's energy expenditure from green technology has greatly contributed to an increase in its energy productivity. The energy productivity of a state is computed by making a comparison between the state's energy consumption and its economic output. California's energy productivity is 68 percent higher that the energy productivity of other states all across the country.
This means that California has clearly adopted the strictest and most stringent energy efficiency standards in the US which is viewed by many economic planners and analysts as one of the many new investment opportunities that are sure to help ignite economic growth. It is believed that if the rest of the country were as energy productive as the state of California, the gross domestic product of the US will be significantly greater. This will provide the most appropriate stimulus to initiate the economic ball rolling.
California's extensive use of renewable energy and lower greenhouse gases, together with a fully automated and environmentally efficient water damage control program, can attract more entrepreneurs and eventual funding which translates to better economic prospects for the whole state.
