Cold and wet weather can be a big challenge for hikers. Therefore you must carry a solid bag pack and comfortable waterproof hiking boots. The dry season which is June and October are the most crowed time however with the excellent weather. December to march slightly wet for all hikers. February is the least appealing month for hiking due to the excessive rain. The most suitable month for Machu Picchu hiking tours is May till September.
