Brochures are considered as an effective marketing material that helps small, medium as well as large organizations to promote their product, services, upcoming events and many more. At present, creating a great brochure is very essential for marketing strategies. Here are some excellent tips to design great brochures:

1.Knowing the purpose of brochure design well before starting: When one is thinking about how to design a brochure, he should start by asking clients and clearly understand about the need of a brochure. Then, they need to describe their objectives. Sometimes they just want one because their last brochure didn't work. If they have come up with a brief explanation, take a step back from that and try to understand exactly what it is that they are trying to achieve.

6.Make a good impression: Brochure designs need to be perfect. Charities don't need extravagant brochures that will make people believe they have spent a lot of money on them, while a new product might require a brochure that will look remarkable at an exhibition, as it stands beside it.

7.Think of simple statements: Sometimes the simple ideas are the best to make a brochure unique and stand out. In case a client has resolved that they want a lot of stereotypical images to convey a particular message across, it is probably wiser to drop the idea. The solution to this would be to use a typographic cover in its place, and create a very factual statement about what the company wants to say.

8.Keeping what works: Do not go crazy over creating something different just for the sake of originality since while designing a brochure that gets noticed. For instance, almost all of the designers use identical fonts in most of their projects for designing a brochure. There are practical reasons as to why Helvetica is used most of the times, and as to why Rockwell is considered a good font for headline.
