A car owned by the society residence is only allowed inside the premises and the rest are requested to park their cars in the guest’s parking lots. Another significant move in ensuring the comforts of residences is selling of parking slots. The concept of selling the car parking slot emerged over two decades back in Indian metropolitan cities wherein the buyers have to book and pay for the requisite number of car parking slots along with the booking of their residences. The common norm says that a resident family can purchase maximum up to two parking slots for their use, this too depends on the number of car parking slots available in a specific residential colony. Having decent provisions of ample parking space for residential condominiums is now a stern directive by the Indian town planning commission.
Though the prime Gurgaon projects and condominium societies have stern security system where guards continually patrol the premises and instantaneously site any car without the society parking sticker and request the owner to take their car outside however we all have witnessed the incidences when parking slot owner struggles to find the owner of the visitor’s car so as to use its own purchased car park slot.
