Approximately 25 minutes after departing the Orlando International Airport, your short drive due east will deliver you to the Orange County Convention Center – a genuinely magnificent architectural and engineering marvel to behold. Essentially two massive complexes connected by an overhead, moving walkway, the Orlando convention center is the second largest meeting and exhibit facility of its kind in the United States. Only Chicago’s McCormick Place boasts more than the truly grand total of seven million square feet beneath the Orlando convention center’s sprawling and ingeniously engineered roof.
