There are hotels providing bed and breakfast accommodation to the London travellers at cost-efficient prices. Such hotels are located everywhere in London and offer comfortable stay to their guests. Read on the article to know more about budget hotels in London.

Ah, smell that air. It's the air of London, the cultural capital of the world. Walk around the infamous Underground and delve into those deep lairs beneath the sprawling city. Take those famous trains to your tourist destination. Step onto the escalator (don't forget to stand on the right!). And emerge from the darkness to squint in the bright London light. You are here. The metropolis beckons.

But where are you to stay? You need an inexpensive hotel near Buckingham Palace. While the tube was an enjoyable experience, you didn't quite enjoy its cramped nature and its suffocating aspects. You'd rather stay close by to the center of the city so you can wander the city by foot. The main tourist attractions of London are generally situated in the west end of the center. Buckingham Palace, St. James Park, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, and the National ...
... Gallery are all located within a ten-fifteen minute walk of each other, so you should do your best to find accommodation in that particular radius.

If you're young and carefree, consider staying in one of the numerous hostels that impregnate the various aspects of the city. Soho, located right beside the famous Oxford Street which runs toward Hyde Park and the Marble Arch, is an extremely bohemian area, inundated with the arts and a wild, vibrant night life. Though staying in such a chic area can be a bit pricey, you can likely find a number of young people willing to host you, if you are sociable and willing to stay in a dingy, cramped place. The Hyde Park Hostel will host you for around forty dollars per night, which is very reasonable for that area.

However, if such accommodation does not sound ideal to you, entirely understandable, then you should go to Regent Street. Regent Street is a long, winding street that circles from Piccadilly Circus to Oxford Street. If you walk along it, you'll find yourself transported from the Trafalgar Square area to the vicinity of the Marble Arch. It cuts alongside the back part of Soho. There are a number of bed and breakfasts located in that area, including one called the Northumberland House, priced at around $100 per night. This hotel is located in an area called Whitehall, which is near the River Thames.

In general, the farther away you get from Buckingham Palace, the cheaper your accommodation. The minute you enter the vicinity of Covent Garden, Green Park, St. James Park, or Knightsbridge you will be paying a good deal more money. If you truly wish to save money and find cheap accommodation, then you'd be better off staying near Tottenham Court Road or Holborn and taking the tube towards the St. James Park stop. Of course, walking from Tottenham Court Road or Holborn towards Buckingham Palace is also extremely doable, and only about twenty to thirty minutes. Along the way you can enjoy a number of quaint London streets and side streets while lapping up the culture of an old city. The inexpensive hotels near Buckingham palace are willing to walk an extra mile to fulfil all your basic requirements. Whatever you choose, you'll surely enjoy your time in the beautiful midst of London.
