Often the image of high technology is that of a human free highly automated processes. But high technology also is great at interfacing with people and products that do a great job of this truly present the human face of high technology. Here instead of making human limitations seem a problem technology helps overcome them and thereby lets people deliver the best possible results.

Take for example weighing very heavy objects. Now unless the objects arrive in a very ordered manner and are of similar size and shape the process cannot be easily automated. On the other hand if you plan to use human power to get the weight measurement done you have to make sure you use it wisely otherwise working with such heavy objects is going to be very tiring and risky as well. And to be able to get the task done efficiently you need to have the right equipment. And among the first things you will need is a floor scale with perhaps its accessories such as ramps.

The floor scale suddenly makes an otherwise very difficult task much simpler. Specially the new generation floor ...
... scales which are very low in their profile and hardly require the object to be weighed to be lifted at all. And so the heaviness of the object become much less of a problem because now it does not have to be lifted up much at all. Instead it can be easily rolled or slid on to the platform and off it once the weight is known.

The digital scale technology has already replaced mechanical scales worldwide. It is because the new technology makes it cheaper to have more accurate and reliable scales. But the floor scale is a great option not because of its digital technology alone. It is because of the human side of its interface.

There is a constant endeavor to make floor scales even lower. And this happens each time a slimmer load cell is developed which can withstand very heavy loads and yet does not have to be very thick.
