Not only are these counted among the largest recruiters of the country, but they are also public sector organisations like those of the railways. State bank of India and its associate banks have thousands of branches across the country. Even in remote cities and villages of India, one can find the SBI bank and work towards their transactions or other needs. Over the years, SBI has managed to gather an irreplaceable position among the banks of the country.

With the armed forces of India having various other extensions and sub branches, collectively, there are probably a few million of people working in different ranks in the country. Apart from the army, navy and air force, armed forces also have sub branches such as Central Reserve Police Force, Central Industrial Security Force, Border Security Force, Indo Tibetan Border Police and Sashastra Seema Bal or SSB. Millions of applicants await and apply for the thousands of posts in different categories. There are officer posts which are usually selected by the UPSC or the organisation itself or deputed from the police forces. Lower cadre non gazetted staffs are selected ...
... by the local offices or divisions and sometimes from the SSC or Staff Selection Commission. Sometimes the individual organisation calls for applications for filling in the vacancies.

For recruitment into these agencies, there are millions of aspirants. They have their hopes high for different types of jobs in these posts and therefore, they need to understand the fact that there are 3 important aspects of getting through the selection process successfully.

• Right information - Without doubt, the first fact for success is through the receipt of information at the right time. SBI recruitment 2013 is going to be quite a big affair, but still there hasn’t been any word on the dates. News only tells about the upcoming vacancies of about 19000 clerical and 1000 PO posts in various branches. State Bank recruitment 2013 is therefore going to be sharply marked by candidates for the exact date. The exams and interviews will be held by the bank itself, at different parts of the country, the dates and times being announced at a later period. Information on the dates and times and the method of application is important to know for being able to apply at the right time.

• Criteria check - Eligibility criteria, educational qualifications and the age limits are to be checked properly, after the SSB recruitment 2013 and SBI recruitment 2013 are published. These can be important determinants of rejection of forms at the time of application or even at a later stage.

• Strong preparation - Wish to succeed in the SSB selection process and banking exam should be backed by proper preparations. For the SBI clerk and PO posts, there would be the need to appear in written exams, which consists of general reasoning, English and mathematics. Aspiring candidates should go through previous years’ questions to understand the pattern. For the SSB recruitment 2013, there is the need to have physical standards and medical fitness, which is an important consideration in the armed forces also. People should get information about the requirements as per the previous years’ criteria and prepare themselves physically to pass the test.

Without the right preparations, there is no success possible. Preparations can be of many types, ranging from correct application methods to studying and much more. Each of these factors has their own importance in the recruitment process and people will have to meet up to these facts with dedication and sincerity for success in banking and SSB recruitment processes.
