Kenyan tourism is “booming” since it receives more than six hundred thousand tourists each and every year. Thousands of these tourists are attracted by the famous beaches along the coastline of Kenya in areas such as Lamu and Malindi. This initiative lead to an incredible decline of wild life poaching and the Kenya tourism service regained public confidence for its courageous move towards curbing poaching activities.Kenya tourism industry has promoted local and international tourism through subsiding tour charges for indigenous people. Many local tourists enjoy travelling to tourist destination at affordable prices. This has enabled the tourism industry to earn revenues from both local and foreign tourists. Kenyan’s travel to the coastal beaches especially during the holidays and enjoy Kenyan tourism service at reduced prices. Majority of the tourist who has ever toured Kenya have always visited the coastal beaches because of amazing climate in the coastal region.Majority of the foreign tourist visit Kenya, when they are on vacation and when the climate back home is in the winter spell. When they visit Kenya tourism in that season the find the Kenyan climate conducive for their holiday tours. Through their frequent visits, Kenya has gained many foreign currencies in the tourism industry. These funds have been used to develop the tourism industry, as well as, other government sectors.
