For EEA, EU and Swiss nationals who have entered Spain only with an identification card but are not more than 18 years and without parents to accompany them, a written parental consent may need to be produced.
This acts as a way of protecting the young people and make sure that they are in the country legally.
Nationals of Seychelles, Nevis, saint Kitts, Mauritius, Barbados, Bahamas, Barbuda and Antigua may work in Spain without the need of a visa or any authorization as long as their stay does not exceed 90 days. This freedom s only applicable in Spain and may not necessarily apply in other Schengen countries.
A brief form has to be filled out when you are arriving in Spain from another Schengen country. Here, you will be needed to give an address in Spain which may be a hostel or even hotel. It is important that you fill out the form as you will not be allowed to proceed without this.
When you need to stay for a period exceeding 90 days and you are neither an EEA nor Swiss citizen, you may have to get an advance ticket. A resident permit is required for those who want to stay for a period exceeding 6 months. This must be acquired in the first 30 days spent in Spain.
