The incredibly beautiful state of Rajasthan in India is an unsurpassed land of majestic dreams where life is all about an experience of royalty and grandiose. ... Chittorgarh Fort is the largest and grandest fort of India as well as of Rajasthan and is situated on a hill at a height of 180 meters and spread over an area of 700 acres. This marvelous piece of architecture is situated in Bhilwara, a city in Mewar region of Rajasthan. The fort is famous for its imposing 13 kilometer long wall and soaring towers. Inside the fort, there are several palatial complexes famous for their design and decorations. Some of these palaces are, Fateh Prakash, Rana Kumbha, Padmini and more. The Vijay Stambh (Victory Tower) and Kirti Stambh (Tower of Fame) are two most popular attractions of this fort known for their stupendous design and decorations.

Kumbhalgarh Fort: Kumbhalgarh Fort is another sparkling piece of architecture located 84 km from Udaipur. It is known for its grand construction and stupendous design built during the reign of Maharana Kumbha in 15th century A.D. The fort is positioned on hilltop 1,914 meters above the sea level and fortified with 36 km long thick wall. It is another most visited fort of Rajasthan famous for its 360 temples, numerous palaces, gardens, and 700 cannon bunkers.

Jaisalmer Fort: Popularly known as Sonar Quila or The Golden Fort, Jaisalmer fort is a worth seeing glorious heritage in Rajasthan. The impressive structure of fort was built by Rawal Jaisal in 1156 AD. It is the second oldest fort of the state built of sand stone, showcasing a perfect blend of Islamic and Rajput style of architecture.

Mehrangarh Fort: Located on a rocky cliff, it is the mesmerizing attraction of Jodhpur. It is a magnificent structure.

Amber Fort: - Amber fort is the essence of glorious past of Amber and is a unique fusion of Indo-Islamic style. The attractions of Amber forts are Kali Temple, Diwani-I-Aam, Ganesha idol, Sheesh Mahal as well as sound and light shows.

Taragarh Fort: The main entrance of the fort is through a road with sharp slope. You will find some of the wonderful elephant carvings on the main gate of the fort. There are three principal entrance gateways to the fort. The names are Phuta Darwaza, Gaudi Phatak, and Laxmi pol. One of the top feature if the fort is the criss cross tunnels. There is a local belief that a vast fortune is in the fort. But attempts to find it till today are vein. This fort was made by Ajay pal Chowhan.

Jaigarh Fort: Located in Jaipur, it is well known for housing the largest cannon in the world which speaks volumes about its proud history.
