• Twisting your upper body part is another warm-up exercise. First stretch your upper body part, keeping your hands on hips and rotate upper body part from left to right then right to left.
• Waling is another part of warm-up that put your blood into motion. While walking you can also do hands and upper body stretches.
• For winter workouts jumping ropes is the best way to warm-up as it increases your heart rate.
When you are preparing yourself for a long run, want to get-up early you can do simple warm up exercise at home as well. You can take up stretching exercises, jumping jacks and power skips that are great ones do at home.
