Zerobonline Stages Of Purification
With a water purifier, the tap water passes through many stages of purification before it is finally dispensed for drinking. The different stages of purification ensure that the water is totally germ free and fit for drinking. The main objective of water purification process is to ensure the water is free from any impurity. In terms of steps involved in the stages of purification, the first step is known as setting. In lay man’s terms, a handful of dust or dirt is thrown into a bowl of water. After some time, the dirt will settle down to the bottom of the bowl. This step is replicated in the purification process which allows removal of heavier contaminants which easily settle down to the bottom of the tank.
Another important step involved in the stages of purification is removing the biological contaminants. Without removing the biological contaminants, the whole purification process is rendered useless. To avoid the spread of water borne diseases, one of the simplest ways to avoid contamination is the use of chlorine. Chlorine helps to disinfect the water. Though chlorine can be added multiple times during the stages of purification, it is generally added at the final stage.
