These types of the screens are one of the widely used and industrial from the rest of the ones as they are highly energy efficient and durable. While it is possible to choose from a wide range of colors, these amazing coverings also help homeowners to get rid of unwanted sunlight, glare and heat. It also protects you from the harmful UV rays while preserving the outer view.

Moreover, solar screens are divided into a few categories like vinyl coated polyester, vinyl coated fiberglass and polyester or fiberglass coated with vinyl with aluminum backing.

3. Privacy Screens

Usually made from polyester, fiberglass, linen, cotton or from the other materials, privacy screens are often used with roller shades to get rid of unwanted sunlight and heat. But, these types of the window screens are less durable. If you don’t want to go for harsh look of solar screens with the roller blinds, then you can choose privacy screens as they are more attractive and appealing compared to those of the solar screens. However, they are not so easy to easy maintain or clean.

4. Woven Wood

Bamboo, yute or other materials that have elasticity and thickness can be used with roller shades. Apart from their highly attractive and decorative looks, these amazing coverings are very hard to maintain. These are very weak and less durable compared to the privacy screens.

Apart from all these major types of the fabrics or screens, you can also use Insect Mesh and Paper Screen with the roller shades in order to get protection from the insects and great designer looks. So, what’s your choice? Make sure you choose the screens or fabrics based on your requirements.
