Nissan has launched Nissan Sunny in India. The Sunny is manufactured at its Oragadam plant near Chennai. Nissan is a Japanese auto biggie. By launching Nissan Sunny they want to make a significant presence in the Indian market with its lucrative and unbeatable price. Sunny has 3 models chiefly Nissan Sunny XE, Nissan Sunny XL and Nissan Sunny XV. When it comes to the pricing Nissan Sunny XE is tagged at Rs 5.78 lakhs, while the Nissan Sunny XL is priced at Rs 6.68 lakhs and Nissan Sunny XV has been tagged at Rs 7.68 lakhs. Due to the affordable prices, it has beaten up its competitors like Toyota Etios and Hundai Verna Fluidic.

According to the features and specification, Nissan Sunny is packed with a 1.5 litre petrol engine which has potential to generate the maximum power of 97 bhp and the peak torque of 134 Nm. Now Nissan has launched all its range of variants in the Indian market. It is speculated that soon Nissan Sunny diesel variant will also hit the Indian road. It looks aggressive with its larger headlamps, smiley chrome grilles, separate fog lamps cluster and lower intake.

It is well equipped with power steering, CD & MP3 music system with 4 speakers, powered OVRMs, automatic climate control system, power windows, glove box, key-less entry system, push button, start/stop system, rear centre armrest with cup holders, overhead console box, chrome inserts on several components, front cup holders, driver seat adjustments etc. Nissan Sunny is also technically safe. It has loaded with SRS dual front air-bags, halogen headlamps, front fog lamps, front disc brakes, ABS with EBD and brake assist, impact absorbing body, engine immobilizer, key-less entry, front and side impact beams, central locking system, child safety locks, day & night inside view mirror etc.
