Wharton (university Of Pennsylvania) – Ranked Among Top 3 World’s Best B-schools

Located in East Part of USA, Wharton is world’s first collegiate business school established in 1881. It boasts of having one of the largest and the most published business school faculty. Applications for prestigious MBA Program are accepted in three rounds. For class of 2015, the application deadlines are; Round 1 - October 1, 2012, Round 2 – January 3, 2013 and Round 3 – March 5, 2013. Wharton strongly encourages first-time applicants to apply in Round 1 or Round 2. Applications received after the deadline is rolled to the next round. Tuition, fees and other expenses for first year students are around $93,000. For class of 2014, total enrollment is 837. The GMAT Test Score was 720 (560 – 790). Wharton accepts GRE Test Score also. The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is required for non-native English speakers with limited exposure to English. International exposure of the class can be gauged from the fact that total number of countries represented is 71.
For class of 2012, the median annual base salary is $120,000 with sign-up bonus of $20,000 and other benefits. Maximum offers were from Financial Services, followed by Consulting and Investment Banking.
Apart from Philadelphia, Wharton has a campus at San Francisco. It also has alliance with INSEAD B-School.
