Digital is here to stay and it is believed that brands that fail to join the bandwagon will lose the rat race. Broadcasters have realised this and are keen to provide viewers with an engagement platform beyond the television screens. In the recent times, it has become imperative for the channel to up their creative quotient in terms of innovative activities which ensure audience connect.

Broadcasters today are trying to increase their reach through various initiatives on the digital space. Channels today are focusing on various platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube as well as developing applications and games to broaden their viewer base. Online marketing using various digital platforms has become the way forward for the different players with the rise in various online marketing companies. The online marketing companies act as a facilitator for the client to guide them regarding the different media platforms which would prove to be best fits for their organizations.

Also digital allows a much better viewing experience compared to its previous counterparts.
