One of the many things included in the basic computer are way too many to be discussed but today we would indulge into the most basic parts of the computer, what makes it work and what does what. Let’s start with the basics first. One of the main parts of the computer is the motherboard with which the entire system is dependent on. If that is messed up the entire machinery won’t be able to work. Computers come in all different shapes and forms (examples: desktops, laptops), but the main components that make up a computer pretty much stay the same.

Components can also be referred to as; hardware or parts. Throughout this website I will explain the various components in a PC computer, and try my best to give you the information you need to better understand how your computer works. Some of this information is considered basic computer knowledge, but there is no better place to start with than with the basics. The casing is where all the components are being stored as, so we don’t have to run around switching off this and that, and then comes the cpu, the central processing unit where it is the brains of the ...
... computer. It is like a human since it was made and designed by one actually, most of the computer works like a human being only made like a machine and to that we can consider it eating and then falling sick too which we would talk about later. The part that is important after the motherboard is the RAM. It is the memory needed by the processor to run application on the computer. It is the hardware that is used as a temporary store, where we put our data, the more the RAM the more smooth operations would become. On top of all this we have the main power supply also the most important part of the computer, it supplies power to all the components of the computer and without that there would be no power hence we wouldn’t notice anything more than something that looks like a box sitting there without any purpose to it. Then there is the hard disk where we store everything, the operating system files and whatever pictures and music we have, we use it to store all of that and then access it every time as well. The part where we see what is happening and what we have to do is concerned with the monitor that shows and displays everything that is happening so we know what we are doing without a monitor there would be no display simply. After that we have the keyboard and the mouse that are one of the most fundamental parts of the computer, with the keyboard which allows a computer user to enter text commands into a computer system. And as with the mouse, A mouse allows a computer user to use a point and click interface to enter commands. These are the basic parts of the computer.
