Rajasthan, the largest and perhaps most visited state in India, is famous for its rich cultural heritage, magnificent forts, palaces, beautiful lakes, havelis, temples and warm hospitality. The state offers breathtaking opportunities to its visitors to explore and see some wonderful and beautiful architectures such as; Lake Palace, City Palace, Kumbhalgarh Fort, Mehrangarh Fort, Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jaisalmer Fort , Junagarh Fort, Neemrana Fort, Castle Mandawa Fort, Amber Fort etc. Many Palaces and forts of Rajasthan state have now converted into grand heritage hotels.

There are three interconnected lakes within the town - the Fateh Sagar Lake, the smaller Swaroop Sagar Lake and the Pichhola Lake. Jaisalmer is an important city of royal and historical land of Rajasthan located remotely in the middle of the great Thar Desert. Despite its remote location the city has emerged as one of the most sought after tourist destinations in the state. It is a city where you can enjoy almost everything for which the state is internationally renowned for. There are ample tourism opportunities available in this city which can definitely fascinate travelers coming from all over the world. Fort, temples, desert, sand dunes, camel safari, etc are main attractions of the city which appeal tourists in large numbers from all over the world.

There are several other wonderful destination in the state that are worth visiting. Bikaner, like Jaisalmer, is famous for its architectural relics and sand dunes. Ajmer is very famous for the Dargah or shrine of Sufi mystic Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti. Pushkar, located near Ajmer is the only place in India where the "Creator Deity" of Hindu Trinity i.e. Brahma is worshipped in a temple. Mount Abu is a picturesque hill station, located in the Aravalis and it has a lot that the tourists would surely appreciate. The Toad Rock, Nun Rock and the Nakkhi Lake are beautiful and the tourists enjoy boating in this lake.
