Waste can be of many types; depending upon the source, they can be solid, liquid or gaseous. However, when we talk about waste system we generally refer to domestic as well as industrial garbage or trash. The process normally involves collection as well as recycling of the collected waste. Such a task can be undertaken either by government agencies or by private companies. In the developed world, wastes are generally collected by the later. They have different systems in place for different categories of the clients.

The domestic consumers, for example, are required to place the garbage at a previously decided place on the scheduled day at a fixed hour. The garbage company sends their pick up van to pick them up on time so that there is no fear of environmental pollution. In some cases, they also supply the householders with garbage bins. However, the industrial consumers are invariably supplied with dumpsters so that there is no fear of environmental damages either at the time of collection or during its transportation. Indeed, most waste management companies ...
... take care to make waste collection both safe and environment friendly.

Earlier, the wastes so collected were used as landfill; but not any more. The garbage collected under such systemsis normally taken to the company’s picking station, where the recyclable materials are sorted out into different categories. Once that is done, they are then transferred to the respective recycling station where it is transformed into a useful resource.

However, when we talk about waste systems, we do not merely mean small discarded objects. Often big machineries too are disposed of in this manner. In such cases, it is first cut down in more manageable pieces before being transported to the recycling station. Indeed waste management today has become highly technical subject. One not only uses machineries to cut down big trashes, machines are also used in every stage. Today, wastes are sorted out by machines, recycling too involve highly technical procedure. Therefore, before one appoints a waste collection company for waste removal, he/she should enquire about their capability in the recycling process.
