My friend called me up and told me that she was expecting a baby. We were too happy to hear the news and decided to give her a baby shower. We all took a trip to the nearest mall to figure out what are the ideas that we have to implement it in the baby’s room and the baby’s shower.

We had decided to do the baby shower in the baby’s room and decided that we all are going to decorate and design our friend’s baby’s room. The popular choice of colors for the baby’s room were pink and blue but we did not whether it was a boy or a girl, so we decided to have the room done up in soft and neutral colors.

The baby’s room was done up in soft shade of blue and green while the furnishing that we chose was white and majorly made up of wood laminate solutions. We avoided having totally white furnishing as that’s difficult to maintain. We decided to arrange for a nice baby shower right next to the baby’s room.

The baby’s room was tastefully decorated with subtle colored curtains that matched with the beautiful laminate on the walls. The colors of the fabrics that we chose for the baby’s room were on the pink and peach side as those are the colors which balanced the other colors.

My friend saw the baby’s room and was too happy with the outcome. She thanked us for our support and our effort. Since, she was the one who was actually going to be around the area, she told us to get a few laminate countertops installed here and there to make sure there was enough space to keep and stock all the baby stuff. Storage was her main concern and since she was really the ‘chief guest’ of the day, we got her wish fulfilled!

It was delightful to decorate a space for a baby and so was the celebration of the baby. One of the things that the decoration for the baby’s room brought in focus was that a baby’s room must be subtly decorated and the colors chosen must also be subtle.
