I decided to give a New Year boost to my kitchen decor. My kitchen did not look as interesting as it used to earlier owing to the chipped off paint of the walls and the old countertops in the cooking area. The tiles had faded too.
I did not enjoy cooking in my kitchen anymore. I felt very much burdened to cook and felt as if I was being dragged to cook. So, I felt that it was time to give my kitchen a makeover. I wanted my kitchen to inspire me every day as I cooked delicious meals for my family.
The first thing that I did was to throw away old furnishing. Old furnishing items were anyway too old and tattered. I wanted to buy some new furnishing and wanted to revamp some of the old. There was one crockery cabinet which was gifted to me by my mother and I wanted it to be there in some form in my kitchen. I bought some nice laminate sheets to revamp the old cabinet and give it the fresh look. Within no time, the cabinet looked stylish and new again.
The second thing that I did was to build in a new window. There had been times when I had got a complaint from so ...
... many people whoever visited my kitchen saying that my kitchen lacked sunlight and natural air. So, I broke one concrete wall and made it entirely out of unbreakable glass. It did help me a lot to ensure that the kitchen had ample light and good amount of air.
The third thing that I ensured was to get some new countertops for the kitchen. I figured that the old countertops started looking very rugged and used, so I bought some new composite laminate countertops for my kitchen. I wanted to give my kitchen and the cooking area a face-lift and some new countertops ensured that the space got a nice face-lift.
I chose gloss laminate panels for the walls of my kitchen. I had gotten bored of those tiles in my kitchen and I wanted to give my kitchen a nice look and appeal with new walls. So, gloss laminate panels were my best bet as they are easy to maintain and very beautiful to look at.
I researched a little and thought well to bring out the best in my kitchen and I must say I could not be happier with the outcome.
