Do you want to learn how to prepare a few very delicious winter meals? Do you want to impress your family or friends with your cooking skills? Do you want to pamper your beloved one with something really tasty and sating? Let me help you then.

As winter comes and the weather gets cold, our bodies begin to crave for more calories. I personally can't stand to eat only vegetables and fruits in winter, and need something to satisfy my appetite for carbohydrates. I love eating meals with pork, potatoes, a lot of onions and leek, a lot of garlic, and other spicy foods.

So, here are a few interesting recipes for winter meals, which I love:

I will start with a salad, based on potatoes. For four portions you need four big potatoes. Boil them unpeeled, and cool them down with cold water, afterwards. Peel them and chop in dice. Put the potatoes in a big bowl. Take a leek wash it well, and cut in tiny dice. Add the leek to the potatoes, and open a small can of tuna. Put it in the bowl, as well. You need two or three pickles. Chop them on tiny bits and add to the salad. The last ingredient is capers, you need one tablespoon ...
... of them. If you don't have capers, you can put some olives (green or black). Flavour the salad with some salt, black pepper, balsamic vinegar and extra virgin olive oil. It will become very tasty. If you want you can add a chilli pepper, too.

My next suggestion is pork cutlets. The cutlets are my favourite part of the pig. I love to roast them, but I always treat them well before I put them in the oven. Take four nice pork cutlets and put them in a roast pan. Cover them with souse from pickled cabbage and let them stay for one night. Don't get frightened if the meat becomes greyish or white. On the next day you have to take the meat out of the marinade and flavour it well on both sides. You have to sprinkle each cutlet with salt, red pepper, black pepper, some cumin, and some savory or marjoram. Get rid of the pickled cabbage souse, pour some sunflower oil on the bottom of the same roast pan where you marinated the meat, and put the cutlets back in it. Open a beer and pour one cup of it in the pan, the meat has to be half covered. Bake for twenty minutes on each side at 180 degrees Celsius.

An interesting garnish for these cutlets can be rice. Chop one onion on tiny bits. Put a sauce pan on the stove with some sunflower oil on the bottom. When the oil is hot, put the onions in it. Fry for two minutes, or until it gets soft and transparent, and add half cup well-washed rice to it. Fry the mixture until the rice gets pearly, and add two cups water. Flavour with salt, black pepper, pimento and one bay leaf. Boil until the rice gets soft. Don't worry if there is still water in the pan, because it will be absorbed after ten minutes.

If you want you can prepare a mushroom sauce for the cutlets, too. Chop about 400 g of mushrooms (whatever kind you want). Put them in a sauce pan with some olive oil on the bottom, and fry them until they get soft and juicy. The mushrooms will loosen their natural juice, so you will have to add one tablespoon flour and a little water. Let the mixture start boiling and pull it from the stove. Flavour with some salt and black pepper and your mushroom sauce is ready.

These dishes are really wonderful, but they won't become delicious at all if you cook them in a dirty kitchen. Kitchen cleaners from London recommend that you clean your kitchens every time you finish cooking, so to maintain them spotless. This way, your food will always be tasty and sating. Moreover, there will be less bacteria in your house.
