What compelled you start smoking? This is one of the questions that is not often explored by smokers, yet it could help them kick the habit. If you go to the first time you started smoking, you may recall that it is not your body’s addiction to nicotine, but other reasons that made you puff on the first cigarette. Curiosity, peer pressure and teenage rebellion are some of the things that make people start smoking before they get hooked to the habit.

Kick the habit

The act of putting some stick between your fingers and inhaling the smoke from it made you feel cool. That feeling still plays a part in keeping you hooked to the habit. This is probably why most electronic cigarettes are designed to look like a regular cigarette where an E liquid with nicotine can be added to it to simulate the act of cigarette smoking.

This simulation of cigarette smoking is believed to allow the smoker to experience the act without actually smoking the cigarette. This is the only thing that can explain why electronic cigarettes have a higher success rate than other options like nicotine gums and patches. The smoker can still ...
... inhale the “smoke” and exhale it as he normally would. The E liquid allows him to add amounts according to his choice.

Different levels of nicotine

The E liquid added of the cigarette has varying amounts of nicotine to cater for smokers with different needs. It all depends on the amount of nicotine you consumed as a smoker. Some manufacturers divide the level of concentration into 3 major groups. There is the maximum level of smoke which has an amount equivalent to that in a regular cigarette. There are also those with moderate and minimal amounts of nicotine.

A bounty of flavors

The E liquid comes in a wide variety of flavors. There are black berries, cranberries, and even green tea flavors. When choosing these flavors, you should make a point of looking at its ingredients. Some have artificial coloring that is sometimes advertised as real flavors. While some people are not fussy about this, others are very particular about the flavor as it is part of what makes their E cigarette experience worthwhile.

Artificial cigarettes are also easy on your budget. Even commercial liquids end up being less expensive than buying cigarettes with an equivalent amount of nicotine. The liquid could also be made at home using readily available ingredients. Either way it is still the healthiest and more cost effective way of consuming nicotine for anyone who is trying to quit smoking.
