Visit to Bangkok would not be complete without a great sight which is known as Grand Palace of Bangkok. The place has its own history .In 1782 Grand Palace was the official residence of the King of Siam. In Thai the place is also known as Thanon Na Phra Lan. It is the complex of Temple, Royal residences and galleries. The Grand Palace complex is heart of Thailand’s spiritual and traditional life. The complex is made up of various halls, gardens, pavilions, structures and Quarters. The Palace is situated just east of the Chao Phraya River. Visitors from all around the world are visit there and find themselves in wonder with its attractive structural design and complicated feature.

There are four main courts in which are the outer court, the middle court, the inner court and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha the Grand palace which are separated by several walls and gates. Temple of the Emerald Buddha is located in the North of the complex. Which is a museum dedicated to Emerald Buddha. It is situated between the outer court and the middle court.

... as in south of the complex the inner court is situated and reserved only for females. This is the court where the king’s royal consort and daughters lived. It is still closed off to public. Various people inspired the design structure of the complex and the middle court housed the most significant traditional throne halls and state apartments. The complex is still used for various representative events. Many royal ceremonies and state functions are held every year in the complex.

The Grand Palace was built by Budda Yodfa Chulaloke in 1782.It is the example of great architecture. From Bangkok airports you can easily get the Grand palace complex, you have to take an airport express bus from airport AE2 Suvarnabhumi-Khao San Road. Ask for bus assistant for Grand palace. He will point the direction of the complex, just walking straight and pass the national museums after that the royal institute of Thailand the great complex of in front of you.
