The Prisoner of Zenda, a novel by Anthony Hope, describes the life of a young English traveler to Ruritania who had to play act the role of a prince and manage affairs while the real monarch was held captive by his enemies. When the English gentleman set out on his travels he never imagined he would have to play the role of the king of Ruritania. For a brief, exciting period, he was king and commanded the respect royalty did. At the end of the story he is offered job in Ruritania but he declines. “I have been King,” he says. Many people would give an arm and a leg to live like a king, even if it is for a brief duration. The Maharajas Express promises a gala tour of princely cities and heritage sites of India. It is a journey into the mythical, magical past to live life the way Maharajas did. There must be something incredibly enchanting and alluring about princely lifestyle that puts in an entirely different class. It conjures up visions of charm, graciousness and elegance. Money, they say, is not all. It cannot get you charm or elegance that royalty carries around quite naturally. ...
... Maharajas’ Express makes you feel incredibly like a prince, surrounding you with timeless graciousness and boundless splendor.

If you are curious to know the difference about a high profile, rich life and the extravagantly splendid lifestyle of kings, the Maharajas Express shows you where the difference lies. The oil rich sheiks are the new nabobs of the world but despite all their gold, they simply cannot match the flair or style of the erstwhile maharajas of India. Kings mean pomp, pageantry, splendid processions, royal durbars, sumptuous meals, colors, festivities and magnificent spectacles. Maharajas’ Express brings you these royal experiences when you go on any one of their luxury tour circuits India based.

The simple point is if you have the means to enjoy life, go all out. While Rudolph Rassedyl was an unwitting king, you can make a conscious decision to live like one. The memories of the luxurious Indian holidays will endure and something that you will cherish for life. If you are bored of luxury, raise the bar and see what it means to be a king. Everything else will seem plain ordinary once the mystical, magical tour is over.

Travel like a king aboard the Maharajas Express is a revelation. There are five tours to choose from: Gems of India, Indian Panorama, Heritage of India, Indian Splendor and the Treasures of India. Whether it is a brief four nights-three days luxury train holiday or an extended eight days-seven nights sojourn, you cannot but feel your life has changed forever.
