To become a trained paramedic, students should have high school diploma and EMT (Emergency medical technician) or CPR (Certified competency in cardiopulmonary resuscitation) training. CPR training should be maintained throughout paramedic training as it has the basic of paramedic studies.

Emergency training programs at paramedic level needs mental and physical fitness along with discipline and dedication. Becoming a paramedic to serve humanity needs compassion and caring nature as you take care of the patients in most dynamic and dangerous environment. Student or trainee should have very high standards. They are trained to use medical equipment and read electrocardiograms and also covers physiology, anatomy and other medical techniques.

After completion of the paramedic degree, one can apply for the national NREMT paramedic certification, which includes passing a test. After passing the test you are open to serve the people. Certification shows that you have done full trainee and is authorized to act as first responders during emergencies. One can act as first responder anywhere in the world with this degree.

Emergency can arise anywhere and needs immediate medical facility, but many factor's hinders its arrival in that situation EMS trained responders act best. Individual can save many live through it's training or education. How good it sounds to pursue the education, which is helpful to us and humanity as well.
