"no!": The Most Positive Word A Network Marketer Can Hear
Are you one of those type of people who is absolutely scared to prospect because you are afraid that someone is going to tell you no? Are you sick and tired of rejection to what you feel is the greatest opportunity or product in the universe?
If you are one of those individual who is strongly on the version of quitting then I encourage you with everything in me not to give up on your dream. You must remain focused, persistent and realize that as Internet Network Marketers we are in the business of sorting. I'm sure you've heard the popular expression Some Will, Some Won't, Someone's Waiting, So What's Next?
You have to realize that any form of Network Marketing is a numbers game. And there are three kinds of people in life who you will encounter as you work in this industry:
Those who know that they want to join your opportunity from the first few seconds of you talking. While these types of people are every Network Marketers dream they do exist. These individuals usually turn out to be your best leaders as they are the type to make a decision and stick with it.
Then there's what I call the individuals ...
... who will not join your opportunity or buy your product. No matter what you say or do these people will tell you no every single time. You can beg, You can please. You can bring them to a meeting given by your top producer in your company and they will not support you. This could be your best friend or even your mother. Do not waste your time continuing to prospect to these people because they are not destined to be in this industry.
Then there are the types who can be swayed into joining your opportunity but they fail to do so because of how you pitch your opportunity/product to them. This is where newbie's often times give up. They are usually impatient and fail to realize that becoming a Master Salesman has a learning curve.
One of the keys in this business is to not to pre-judge anyone. Don't judge income level, don't judge race, and don't judge anything about a person. There is no magic seal on a person's forehead that signals to you who won't be your next downline superstar. The goal is to never be attached to the particular outcome of a situation.
In closing I want to leave you with the following statement taken from Napoleon Hill's ‘Succeed And Grow Rich Through Persuasion:
HEARING THE WORD NO: This word, to a real salesman is only to signal to begin fighting. If every buyer said yes, salesmen would have no jobs for they would not be needed.
