Honolulu, a huge city on the island of Oahu, is Hawaii’s best known tourist destination offering an array of sightseeing options, restaurants and nightlife. Once you are here, you’ll be flabbergasted that not a day passes by without something fascinating happening on the streets, in the parks or on the famous Waikiki beaches.
If you think you’ll not be able to make it for the illustrious Chinese New Year celebrations at Honolulu, then don’t feel saddened as there are plethora of other special occasions in Honolulu, which attract large crowds of both partakers and spectators, providing tourists with a range of things like street parties, colorful parades, competitions and sailing/surfing contests to see and perform at, whilst visiting here. First and last Fridays, every month are your best opportunities to get a peek into the art scene of the city. First Fridays are for people when Honolulu's galleries and studios ...
... show case work by various artists. Last Friday’s ‘ARTafterDARK’ offered by the Honolulu Academy of Arts puts forward an evening that rejuvenates the minds with an amalgamation of food, drinks, art, music and dancing. Take flights to Honolulu and plan a holiday so as to include one of these special Fridays to add some live music, antique shopping, street entertainment and wine tasting, to your stay.
