Miscellaneous kitchenware includes utensils, dishes, cookware and bakeware used in the kitchen. Cookware and bakeware are most used food making utensils of the kitchen. Cookware includes saucepans and frying pans, whereas bakeware are cooking utensils used inside an oven. While selecting any cookware and bakeware, it is important to check its thermal conductivity. Stainless steel is the metal most frequently used to produce cookware. It is robust, and resistant to wear and corrosion.

The size and shape of a kitchen equipment depends on its usage. Cookware is available in shapes (mostly in cylindrical) and sizes. Here are some different types of cookware mostly used in the kitchen.

Roasting pans are generally used to roast foods like chicken, mutton. They are made of heavy gauge metal and are oval in shape. Frying pans come with a flat heating surface and shallow sides.
