Tools should be kept clean. Always clean and disinfect garden tools after working with diseased plants or soils. Improper care of tool leads to tool damage. Rain, sun, chemicals, impacts and excessive temperatures can also damage tools for gardening. Store them properly in a tool box.
Many equipments have sharp edges. Edged equipments include axes, hoes, shears, saws, mowers and garden knives. Keep all sharp-edged tools for gardening away from children. Always remember to wear personal protective equipments such as gloves, eye and ear protection to avoid any damage.
Always disinfect equipment after working with diseased plants. Diseases may be transmitted to uninfected plants via contaminated garden equipment.
