After entering the official website of the railways, the passengers should click on the “train schedule” link on the left hand corner of the website. They should input either the train name or the train number in the rectangular box provided on the screen. Clicking on the “get schedule” button below will provide the list of train names and the train numbers with details such as the source station of the train, the starting station, the departure and the arrival time.

When cancelling, the passengers can cancel the electronic ticket online and they will get the refund within the next seven working days but after the railways deduct a certain amount as penalty.

For cancelling i-tickets, the passengers will have to go the nearest ticket booking station and cancel the same. The railway clerk at the counter will cancel the same after deducting a certain amount as cancellation charges. The amount will reflect in the customer’s account within the next seven working days.
