Internists provide the grounding knowledge and requirements of recovery concerning each patient who needs help at a given time.

While some specialties are in more demand than others, it is important for an up and coming doctor to remember to do what comes naturally as well as something with which he is comfortable. Being in a comfort zone makes life and work much easier for everyone involved.
