THE BCA Programme (Bachelors of computer application)is a 3 year programme is affiliated to a state Technical University, Ministry of HRD. It aims to provide a sound theoretical background and good practical exposure to students in the field of computer and its application . The curriculum includes various aspects of algorithm design, computational theory, programming and optimization , network and database management , electronics , mathematics , , probability , mobile technologies , accounting , statistics and finance . The 3 year curriculum is divided into 6 semesters. Semesters 1st to 5th shall include lectures, tutorials , practical’s , seminars as defined in the schemes of instruction and examinations issued by the University from time to time . Semester 6th will exclusively be devoted to practical training in the industries – organization in which students shall be required to work on the projects assigned by industries – organizations.
