Firstly, pay more attention on the solid wooden furniture surface. As usual, there is painting and paint film on the furniture surface and you have to focus on the painting because once the paint film is damaged, not only the beautiful appearance should be affected, but also the inner structure of furniture products should be influenced. Therefore it is important to clean the solid wooden furniture, especially the furniture surface. For example, at fixed periods, you can use the neat and tidy soft rag to clean the dirty mark on surface, ...
... and then if the condition allows, you can polish furniture with wax. By this way, you would find that the furniture is so glorious, which not only keep the furniture quality, but also increase its gloss. However, you should be more careful when choosing wax, you should not select the ones which contains chemical corrosive substances or other inferior elements.
Secondly, if you notice that there is dirty mark on solid wooden furniture surface, please not to use alcohol, gasoline and other chemical material to get rid of the marks. What should you do under such circumstance? You can try to clean such mark with warm tea stains to clean. Once the moisture contained in tea stains is evaporated, you can use wax to daub surface so as to form a layer of protective film.
Thirdly, not to touch with too hard things. Both in maintenance in daily life and cleaning process, you should not use too hard objects such as metal substances or other sharp things to touch the furniture surface because all of them are easy to damage the protective surface.
Fourthly, not to place solid wooden furniture under too moist environment. If your living environment is a little moist, you’d better use rubber pad to separate the furniture and floor, at the same time, the gap between furniture and wall should be at least 1cm.
