... you notice a slight change in its behavior. Dog Health really means a lot to the owner who is attached with his pet and treats these animals like their family members and good friends. Heartworm is a deadly disease which can easily infect a dog’s heart and arteries which mostly happen due to a mosquito bite. The larva of the mosquito is easily transferred to the dog’s heart where they breed and eventually grow up. The symptoms of this ailment are coughing, collapsing and depression. This serious ailment requires immediate attention as it might lead to heart failure and death. Vomiting and diarrhea is also a common problem with these pets as they tend to swallow toys, clothing items, chocolate or gum wrappers which are really harmful for their internal system.

Weight loss, change in appetite, fever, lethargy, dark or black diarrhea are some of the symptoms which can easily help you in identifying this disease. Keep an eye on its eating habits and ensure that no such thing is lying around which can cause harm to your pet’s health. These problems can eventually also affect the breed of the animal and hence it is advisable to take it to the vet frequently.
