Heartworm is a deadly disease which can easily infect a dog’s heart and arteries which mostly happen due to a mosquito bite. The larva of the mosquito is easily transferred to the dog’s heart where they breed and eventually grow up. The symptoms of this ailment are coughing, collapsing and depression. This serious ailment requires immediate attention as it might lead to heart failure and death.
