Triangle is a closed figure that has exactly three sides. These sides are form three interior angles. Based on his sides it can be classified as follows.

kinds of triangles according to sides Types:

Acute triangles.
Obtuse triangles
Right triangles
Equilateral triangles
Isosceles triangles
Scalene triangles

Kinds of triangles according to sides are Equilateral triangles,Isosceles triangles and Scalene triangles.
Kinds of Triangles According to Sides:

Acute triangles:

A triangle which has all its three angles are acute it is said to be acute angles. That is a triangle which has all interior angles are acute is called acute triangle. And all its angles are less than 90 degree.

Obtuse triangles:

A triangle which has one obtuse angle is called obtuse triangle. That means the measure of one angle is greater than 90 degree. It contains obtuse interior angles. The opposite side of the obtuse angle is always longest side.

Right angle triangle:

A triangle which has the 90 degree angles in it , then it said to be an right angle triangle. It ...
... is measured by a little square of its corner. The longest side is always opposite to the right angle. That longest side is called hypotenuse. And the other sides are called legs. The measure of one angle should be 90 degree. Here we are using pythogorous theorem for finding the unknown side value.
Special Kinds of Triangles According to Sides:

Pythagoras theorem

In a right angle triangle the square of the hypotenenuse is equal to the sum of the squares of other two sides. This is used to find the unknown sides and also mainly used in the trigonometric functions.

Equilateral triangle:

All sides for a triangle have the equal length. And it is also known as regular polygon. It angles are 60- degree.

Isosceles triangle:

Here two sides are having the equal lengths the angle is opposite to the other two sides of the equal length.

Scalene triangle:

This type of triangles does not have the equal sides. And their angles are also different.

A triangle is a three sided closed figure with three vertices. It is also called as three sided polygon

Basic facts about triangle:

All the three angles in triangle sum up to 180 degree and individual angle is less than 180 degree

Sum of the two side’s length is longer than the length of the third side of triangle and difference of the two side’s length is less than the length of the third side of triangle

The side which lies opposite to larger angle is the largest side in the triangle.
Facts about Triangles-isosceles and Equilateral Triangle:

Isosceles Triangle:

In isosceles Triangle,

Two neighboring angles and two opposite sides are equal.
The median, angle bisector, height of the triangle will coincide and they will bisect the triangle in to two equal right triangle.

The median, angle bisector, height of the equal sides of the triangle are equal.

Equilateral Triangle:

In Equilateral triangle:

All the three sides and three angle are identical. Since the angles are identical it is also called as equiangular triangle.
Each and every angle in triangle is 60 degree.
Each and every equilateral triangle is always an equiangular triangle and the inverse.
Altitude of the triangle is equal to sum of the distance between any points in the inner part of an equilateral triangle to all sides.

Facts about Triangles-scalene and Right Triangle:

Scalene triangle:

In this triangle,

All the three sides are different in length.
All the three angles are different in degree.

Obtuse triangle:

Among the three angles of the triangle, one angle is more than 90 degree.
Other two angles are less than 90 degree.

Right triangle:

Among the three angles of triangle, one angle is 90 degree
In isosceles right triangle, other two angles are equal and measures to 45 degree.
Side opposite to 90 degree angle is hypotenuse and other sides are legs (opposite and Adjacent).
Length of legs(opposite and adjacent )is always less than the length of the hypotenuse.
Distance between all the vertices and midpoint of hypotenuse are same.
